Just back from my first ( and probably last ) appt with the endocrinologist........she said that Vit D is now normal after I have been taking the supplements and my calcium level is normal so I shall continue Vit.D for ever.....................she tested for todays Vit D and calcium levels and PTH.........she is trying to find results of Dexa scan to ? treatment of my osteoporosis as I am now not on Fosomax
